Middle Schools

The Middle School Community of Practice (CoP) aims to provide a shared platform for careers professionals working in the Middle Schools across the South Midlands Careers Hub. It aims to strengthen regional collaboration, promote shared best practise and facilitate access to valuable resources. In doing so, it supports schools in meeting their statutory responsibilities and delivering against the Gatsby Benchmarks, in line with the national Careers Strategy. The CoP is committed to ensuring that all young people access inclusive, high-quality careers education that prepares them for future learning and employment.

Meetings take place once per term, and dates for the academic year 2025/26 are set out below:

• Autumn Term – Thursday 9th October 2025 10 – 11.30am
• Spring Term – Thursday 22nd January 2026 10am – 12pm
• Summer Term – Wednesday 17th June 2026 1.30 – 3.30pm
