Inclusion / SEND
The South Midlands Careers Hub launched its Inclusion Community of Practice (CoP) in July 2025.
The purpose of the Inclusion CoP is to create a shared platform for careers professionals and volunteers across the hub network with an interest in SEND and inclusion, where they can exchange best practice, access useful information, and support each other in delivering inclusive careers education.
It is open to Careers Leaders from SEND institutions, AP’s and Independent Special Schools, Industry Partners, and mainstream SENCo’s. Meetings take place once per term, and dates for the academic year 2025/26 are set out below:
- Autumn Term – Tuesday 21st October 2025 3.30 – 4.45pm (virtual)
- Spring Term – Thursday 5th March 2026 3.30 – 4.45pm (virtual)
- Summer Term – Wednesday 1st July 2026 (in person Inclusion Conference) – details tbc
