Each year over 1300 students attend our Careers Fair at Northampton College from a variety of study programmes, including our A Level and T Level students.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to connect with you, build their networking skills and learn more about the career pathways, employment opportunities and further training available to them. We are looking for people to share their employability skills with our young people of communication, teamwork, confidence and professionalism and help to raise aspirations across a range of careers. We are looking for Apprenticeship Providers to attend our Post-16 Fair aimed at our Year 11 students and their parents.
Join us to showcase your entry-level roles, industry pathways, and apprenticeship opportunities directly to students actively making decisions about their post-16 pathways.

This event provides a platform for our Year 8 and Year 11 students to explore potential career pathways and learn about the diverse apprenticeship opportunities available to them. In line with Provider Access legislation, we are bringing together local employers and training providers to highlight entry routes, higher-level apprenticeships, and vocational training options.

We are inviting employers to our school Careers Fair, as an opportunity to talk about your business and routes into with our students. Please feel free to bring banner(s), and promotional materials to share.
The Careers Fair is open to our student in Years 10 – 13 (ages 14-18yrs), with an expected footfall of around 500 students throughout the afternoon. From 3.45pm we will be inviting parents and carers to attend the Careers Fair for the final hour, for Years 8 – 13 (ages 12 – 18yrs).
We are looking for employers from any sector, but in particular, engineering.
Free parking is available on the day and there will be tea/coffee/water and biscuits.

We are inviting employers and providers to attend our ‘Future Opportunities Event’, which aims to provide students with impartial information about the range of opportunities available to them at both Post-16 and Post-16 stages and raise awareness about their future options. Our intention is to show that learning is a lifelong journey and that the variety of subjects a student studies can lead to a wide range of future career pathways.
For the event, we ask if you could bring a visual display stand (banner, leaflets etc.) offering simple but factual information, along with a representative to speak with students and answer their questions.
The age range of the students attending the event is 13 to 19 years and are accompanied by parents. Students from other schools in the area are also invited, typically giving us a footfall of at least 400 during the evening.
